Abstract:
BIM technology has been widely applied in civil engineering construction, but the cross-stage collaboration level of BIM models remains insufficient. Taking the BIM project of Ezhou Huahu Airport, Hubei Province as an example, this paper proposes a method to evaluate the cross-stage collaboration level of BIM models by using the component turnover rate. It statistically analyzed the turnover situation of BIM components of different specialties in the terminal building, cargo station and air traffic control tower. The results show that the BIM component turnover rate of architecture, structure and interior decoration specialties is relatively high, while there are many re-modeling situations in steel structure and curtain wall specialties, resulting in a lower component turnover rate. Based on this, this paper systematically analyzed the difference characteristics and causes of component turnover rates of different specialties, and proposed improvement measures to enhance the BIM component turnover rate from five aspects: establishing BIM implementation standards, promoting BIM forward design, establishing a standardized component library, using BIM platforms to be compatible with multiple data formats, and reasonably regulating the BIM responsibilities of all parties involved in the project. This provides a reference for further promoting the application of BIM technology in civil engineering construction.
