Research on Parameterized Modeling of Composite Wall with Lightgage Steel Joist based on Revit

  • This paper mainly focus on the complicated problems of the Revit modeling for light steel keel buildings.By using the C# programming language and the Revit API family library, a parameterized modeling plug-in of Revit 2016 is developed for the composite walls with lightgage steel joist, which conforms to the specifications of Technical Specification for Cold Formed Thin-Walled Steel Structures (GB 50018-2002)and Technical Specification for Low Level Cold-Formed Thin-Walled Steel Buildings (JGJ 227- 2011)The light steel keel structure can achieve rapid and accurate modeling by using the plug-in, which lays solid foundation for the subsequent professional analysis, processing prefabrication and construction application.
