The Application Practice and Innovation of BIM Forward Design of a Theme Park in Beijing

  • In recent years, with the rapid improvement of material and spiritual living standards, people′s demand for high-quality cultural and entertainment activities has increased. China is gradually becoming the world′s premier theme park market. Because large theme parks often have distinctive features that are different from ordinary cultural tourism towns, such as their large number of complex structures, a large number of cutting-edge dynamic recreational equipment, etc., they have brought great construction difficulties to the construction of theme parks. This article will take a theme park in Beijing as an example to detailly introduce the application and the practice of forward design of complex structures in theme parks by using BIM technology as a digital design method.
