Research on Rapid Generation System of BIM Road Model Based on Parametric Technology

  • With the rapid development of Internet technology, BIM technology has been widely used in the field of construction in recent years. Revit is considered as the core BIM modeling software in China. In the process of applying Revit software to create BIM models of various architectural specialties, there are many changes in road curve and height, therefore manual modeling of Revit has certain limitations, which requires a lot of repetitive labor and affects the modeling efficiency. This paper mainly studies the rapid generation of road BIM model system based on Grasshopper and Revit software, and realizes the rapid modeling of Revit software through the generation of complex road BIM model through parameterization technology, which improves the efficiency of BIM modeling and obtains the application value of BIM technology to engineering. The application results show that the rapid generation of road BIM model by applying parameterization technology can effectively improve the efficiency and the degree of informatization and digitalization in the engineering design stage, which can provide a reference for applying BIM technology in the design stage of road engineering.
