Research on the integrated application of Lean construction and BIM concept

  • In the context of supply-side structural reform, the trend of "industrialization, standardization, and intelligence" in bridge engineering construction is becoming prevalent. Under the current engineering construction system, design and construction are still in the extensive management stage, with fragmented information, low digitalization, significant information loss, slow progress in project life cycle management, and limited application of lean construction concepts. BIM has become an essential tool for digital construction. This paper proposes a technical route that integrates lean construction with BIM, enabling optimized construction plans, improved management, more accurate and reliable data, smoother resource sharing, and more timely and effective decision-making. This study explores the application of lean construction in bridge engineering, ultimately achieving improved quality, increased efficiency, and reduced costs.
