Research on a Visualization Method for Rapid 3D Clearance Assessment of Airport and Construction of Information Platform System

  • Based on the importance of airport clearance conditions for airport design and management, this article proposes a fast visualization method for airport 3D clearance assessment based on 3D visualization technology, GIS technology, and BIM technology. The method first quickly establishes and integrates 3D models of airport obstacle restriction surfaces, main buildings of the airport, flight areas, terrain, etc. through parameterization and other methods, to generate 3D buildings with existing obstacles in the surrounding area, Then, the twin mapping of the entire airport and its clearance is completed through geographic registration technology in the 3D graphics engine, and visual simulation of obstacle assessment is carried out for the entire airport. The positioning, height limit calculation and analysis, batch input and output, and other functions of newly built buildings around the airport are achieved through various geographic coordinates input. Finally, the prototype system of the airport 3D clearance assessment visualization information platform is packaged and formed, Provide convenient and efficient analysis tools for the design phase and management operation phase.
