Innovative Application of BIM-based Digital Collaboration in the Construction of Large-scale Airport Project

  • This paper explores the collaborative application of digital technology in the construction of large-scale airport projects, with a focus on the utilization of BIM collaborative design and digital management in engineering construction. Through the application of BIM-based digital collaborative design and management, the collaborative work efficiency among all participating parties has been significantly improved, fully leveraging the advantages of BIM digital collaboration in the construction process of large-scale projects. Especially when dealing with multi-disciplinary and multi-organizational interdependencies, the utilization of BIM technology enables the collaborative sharing of vast amounts of data within the construction industry and information related to various construction management elements, providing an innovative approach to efficiently address challenges encountered during engineering construction, thereby ensuring high-quality project outcomes. The practical application demonstrates that BIM digital collaboration can efficiently address construction challenges in large-scale airport projects, accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces and offering valuable reference for similar large-scale airport projects.
