Exploration on the Protection of Shaoxing Historical and Cultural City from the Digital Perspective

  • Shaoxing is one of the first historical and cultural cities in China, and is known as "a museum without walls". In recent years, under the contradiction between the protection and development, inheritance and innovation of the ancient city, Shaoxing has actively participated in the digitalization of cultural heritage, explored "digital empowerment" to protect and utilize the ancient city, and built an information management system with the core needs of digital protection, display, management, utilization, publicity and supervision, which integrates the functions of diversified resource display, information fusion analysis, ancient city style control, urban renewal decision-making and real-time supervision and control, effectively promoting the ancient city style control and planning. Based on the empirical analysis of the construction of information management system for the protection and utilization of Shaoxing ancient city, this paper explores the innovative path of digital technology to empower the protection and refined management of historical and cultural cities, with a view to providing Shaoxing experience for the digital protection and utilization of historical and cultural cities.
