Analysis on Collision Response of ComplicatedHigh-rise Connecting Structures

  • Based on the elastic-plastic time-history analysis method, the collision response of large-span corridor structure between the three towers of Shanghai International Financial Center is studied. The research work focused on the feasibility of the mutual collision, the magnitude of the impact force between the corridor and the main towers and impact force's distribution characteristics in space under severe earthquake. In addition, the components' performance is checked during collision. The analysis research method in this paper can provide significant reference to other similar complex corridor structures.
