There were lots of difficulty in Jinan West Railway Station project implementation process, such as Large scale, complex pipeline, huge amount of engineering quantity and install difficulty.In order to ensure the project delivered on schedule, owners' request to introduce BIM to solve the problem.The article first introduces the meaning of BIM and the application situation in our country, then it summarizes the characteristics of the project, to clarify the importance of the introduction of BIM.Combined with the actual project, the author explained the contents of the BIM applications, methods and tools, listed the effect of BIM in the project application, analyzed the application of value and summed up the difficulties and shortcomings.Finally, the author made a summary of the development of BIM applications.
