In the pipeline diversion of municipal roads and roads'turnover, application of BIM technology with breaking the traditional becomes more and more common. The project of cross-river tunnel in west Chang Jiang road, Shanghai city has used BIM technology successfully. The project uses software AUTODESK REVIT and AUTODESK NAVISWORKS on BIM for model's creation, simulation of construction process and demonstration of construction plan. It rules out the risk previously, improves the efficiency of project coordination, and achieves very significant benefits.
