The Comparison on the Shear Strength of RC Beams without Stirrups both Eurocode and Chinese Code

  • The paper simply analyzes the European methods on the calculation of the shear strength without stirrups for the RC beams.The authors research the factors such as the reinforcement ratio, the shear span ratio, the concrete tensile strength etc, and compare the European formula with Chinese codes.The paper points out some design differences of the oblique sections based on the comparison.
