Analysis on Ground Surface Deformation Induced by Excavation with Large Pipe-shelf in Subway Entrance Construction

  • In complex urban environments, excavation of the subway entrance is the important and tough part in subway construction. On the basis of the construction practice in the bored section of Zhongshan Park Station Entrance one, this paper systematically analyzed the effects taken by exceeding support with large pipe-shelf and method of shallow stratum to ground surface and the surroundings, tracked and monitored the process of excavation with large pipe-shelf for the subway entrance. Analyzing the monitoring data to adjust and improve the construction technology, therefore keeping the stability of structure and ground deformation in the process of excavation. It could avoid the excessive settlement or even collapse of ground and vault. The results of monitoring shows that formulating a reasonable construction scheme, using information construction method of dynamic construction can effectively control the effects to ground, and also will give a good example and reference to other similar construction projects.
