Abstract:
With the improvement of digitalization level, digital construction has become an important way for the transformation and strategic development of the construction industry. In order to fully meet the growing demand for high-quality drinking water among residents, it is necessary to comprehensively upgrade and expand the treatment processes of existing water plants in the city. The expansion and renovation project of a water plant in Shenzhen is located in the central urban area. The project has small construction land and faces construction challenges such as pipeline protection in the factory area, water supply safety assurance, underwater pipe jacking operations, and complex spatial equipment installation. By utilizing technologies such as oblique photography, GIS, Dynamo, Civil 3D, Revit, AR, BIM5D, etc., the project site optimization, integration of multiple professional models, simulation analysis, comparison and selection of visualization solutions, 3D technical disclosure, digital project management, and other applications have been achieved, effectively solving the above difficulties. The overall efficiency and level of project construction have been improved, and the water plant has been continuously expanded and renovated ultimately achieving the effect of improving quality and efficiency.
