Establishment of Energy Dissipation Device Family for Shock Absorption and Isolation Structures Based on Revit

The shock absorption and isolation structure structures are different from traditional seismic structures, the pain point of building BIM models in current structures mainly lies in the seismic isolation and energy dissipation device. This paper uses BIM technology and Revit software to build the energy dissipation device family to fill the gap that the Revit system the third party library have no energy dissipation device family components; by parameterizing the family components of seismic isolation and energy dissipation devices, it can achieves the creation of different family components; the product parameters of the created seismic reduction and isolation energy consumption device are counted through the detailed list. Finally, to load the constructed family into the structural model, and to explore the application of BIM technology in shock absorption and isolation structure.
