Abstract: The application effect of Building Information Modeling(BIM)is usually not good in China construction industry due to not take the appropriate application management BIM modeling. Under the traditional Design-Bid-Build(DBB)project delivery model, there are usually three BIM management schemas developed independently by designers, contractors and project management teams. In this paper, we discussed thoroughly the backgrounds, advantages and disadvantages of those three schemas. And we also offer the potential solution to improve the schema management and promote the value of BIM application.
