Abstract: In view of the characteristics of complex structure and dense mechanical and electrical pipelines possessed by a large-scale commercial complex project, the BIM technology is applied to support the construction and management of the project with the BIM model as the information carrier, which achieved the aim of improving the quality, reducing the cost and speeding up the progress of the project.The BIM application in the project is mainly during the design and construction stages, and based on the as-built model at delivery stage, all operation and maintenance parameters are added to provide data support for the following operation and maintenance management.
