Abstract: BIM (Building Information Modeling) is one of the most widely applied technologies in the building industry at present.Its value in the design, construction and operation stages has been recognized by increasing number of companies. However, from the user's point of view, there is not much research on the BIM technology for building product's pre-experience.Based on the application of BIM technology in residential projects, this paper mainly studies the application of BIM technology in residential projects from the perspective ofusers.
