Abstract:
Historic buildings are non-renewable and fragile, but they have precious cultural heritages and historical data. This paper focuses on problems such as fires and other disasters caused by improper protection of historic buildings, and also focus on how data can support the post-disaster reconstruction. Therefore, it is quite important to establish a cloud platform for the protection of historic buildings. This research is taking the first palace of Mount Tai as an example.First of all, it uses the 3D laser scanning, UAV aerial survey, and high-precision orthograph to take the mapping process of the First Hanging Palace of Mount Tai. Secondly, it uses BIM technology to establish parameterized components, digital models, 3D printing entity models, and immersive virtual interactive systems. Finally lightweight cloud platform is built, which not only provides a solution for storing BIM data in a diversity way, but also reduce the operation difficulties. This provides diversified collaborative platforms, establishes database of historic architecture that includes model files, drawings, animations, etc. All files can be presented via cloud platform. The solution provides a reference for the digital protection of historic buildings.
