Abstract:
Using the Water Reclamation Project of Weibei New District as a case study, this paper discusses the application of BIM technology throughout the entire project lifecycle. Given the compact spatial layout and complex pipeline systems of the project, a BIM application system was established with a focus on optimizing process pipelines and ensuring accurate equipment installation. During the design phase, optimization tasks such as site layout, model creation and review, and detailed equipment planning were conducted to enhance the overall design scheme. In the implementation phase, activities including collision detection, precise hole reservations, construction simulation, and process management were carried out, leading to successful installation and control outcomes. The practice demonstrates that the application of BIM technology in the Weibei New District Reclaimed Water Utilization Project has significantly improved construction quality, cost control, and project scheduling, achieving the goal of refined project management.
