Abstract:
In the process of identifying data assets, BIM face difficulties in being listed as data assets due to the inability to satisfy the three rights of "data resource ownership", "data resource processing rights", and "data resource management rights", as well as the inability to clearly define the expected economic benefits to the enterprise. By converting BIM into a full-scale database, the above problems can be effectively solved. This article will elaborate on the difficulties of asset identification using BIM and the methods of using full-scale databases to solve them, demonstrating the economic feasibility of using data models instead of BIM for digital asset authentication, which is useful for the research of data value of BIM model.
