Abstract: Promoting institutionalized BIM-Design is facing both technical and management changes for designing institute. Based on the transformation practice of Guangzhou Pearl River Foreign Investment Architectuarl Designing Institute in the past five years, this paper discusses the design management of BIM-Design mode, including how to optimize the composition of BIM design teams, strengthen the rationality of task and output distribution, realize professional collaboration based on BIM software, promote progress management and assist change management. Finally, suggestions for the application of design project management under the " institutionalized BIM-Design " mode were proposed, which have reference significance for architectural design enterprises to strengthen the digital level of project management and improve project management efficiency.
