Abstract:
With the development of building information modeling (BIM) technology, parametric modeling has become an important means to improve the efficiency and quality of building design. Based on BIMBase platform and Python programming language, this paper studies the parameterized building modeling method based on BIMBase+Python. Firstly, the architecture characteristics of BIMBase platform and the advantages of Python language are analyzed, and the feasibility of combining the two for parametric modeling is pointed out. Then, the parameterized modeling process based on BIMBase+Python is described in detail, including the key steps of model creation, parameter setting, rule writing, model generation and combination. Then, taking a hotel decoration design project as an example, the application process and effect of the method are demonstrated, and the engineering superiority of the method is verified. Finally, the advantages and problems of this method are summarized, and some suggestions for further research are put forward.
