Abstract:
Exploring the application of BIM technology in the design phase of high-speed rail catenary, especially in addressing challenges such as catenary modeling, design collaboration, and information management. By using the domestic BIM software Railworks and combining parametric modeling methods, a high-precision 3D model of the overhead contact system was constructed to achieve precision and efficient collaboration in design. Through in-depth analysis and optimization of the modeling process at each stage of the contact network, research has shown that BIM technology can effectively improve design efficiency, shorten modeling cycles, and have significant advantages in improving information collaboration and precise construction guidance. Data standardization and model interoperability have solved the information transmission bottleneck in current designs. In addition, the successful application of Railworks software in the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed railway project significantly improved design efficiency by about 50% and provided full lifecycle management support for the project. The conclusion points out that the widespread application of BIM technology in the field of high-speed rail contact network not only optimizes the design process, but also provides more scientific, accurate and efficient technical support for high-speed rail construction, which has reference value and promotion significance.
