Abstract:
In the current era of widespread digitalization, smart construction site systems leveraging IoT technologies have become pivotal enablers for the construction industry's digital transformation. IoT technologies provide massive datasets for project management through efficient capabilities. However, the absence of standardized data frameworks and data asset inventory tools has led to inadequate real-time analytics and decision-making support. To address these challenges, this study adopted a research pathway of "standard construction, data warehouse design, system application" to carry out research on an industry-graded data warehouse system tailored for smart construction sites. By sorting out the scope of construction data and referring to the existing classification systems in other industries, enterprise related standards were formulated. Based on the aforementioned standards and integrated with the practical application scenarios of smart construction systems, an industry-grade data warehouse system was designed. The application showed that the data warehouse system's multi-modal data parsing, real-time data status response and data aggregation functions significantly improved the data value conversion efficiency. The research results provided a reproducible technical framework for data management in the construction industry.
