Abstract:
BIM technology has emerged as the "digital nervous system" of full-process consulting, spanning planning, design, construction, and operation and maintenance (O & M) stages. However, BIM models—created through self-review by project design and construction teams or third-party platform-based automated reviews during modeling—often still exhibit significant issues in practical applications. Consulting entities must conduct manual reviews of these models during the construction process, particularly critical for BIM models in complex engineering scenarios. This paper analyzes the BIM model review cases in the design and construction stages of the whole - process consultation of a building construction project, conducts a comprehensive and refined review of the project model, checks the geometric shape, dimensional accuracy, elevation control, element attributes of the model, as well as the collaborative relationships among various specialties. This approach effectively reduces design changes and risks during construction, highlights the process value of BIM model review in digital transformation for full-process consulting projects, and provides robust support for successful project implementation.
