Abstract:
In the digital transformation of the construction industry, although existing methods such as the Critical Path Method and BIM4D simulation have certain benefits for the progress management of construction projects, they still face challenges due to issues like lagging data collection, insufficient accuracy, information silos, and delayed responses. This paper proposes a framework idea of "Point Cloud + BIM + Digital Twin + Artificial Intelligence" to achieve the intelligent transformation of progress management. This method realizes high-precision point cloud data collection through the integrated use of scanners and drones, combines artificial intelligence algorithms to denoise and fill in missing parts of the point cloud data, quantifies the progress percentage through spatial registration from coarse to fine with the converted BIM model, and finally maps the quantified progress to the digital twin platform to achieve dynamic visual management, thereby improving project collaboration, management progress, and management efficiency.
