Abstract:
With the acceleration of digital transformation in the engineering industry, BIM technology has been increasingly widely applied in engineering projects. However, problems such as chaotic model version management and low collaborative efficiency in the multi-disciplinary collaborative design process have seriously restricted the exertion of BIM technology's advantages. Based on the version control system, this paper constructs a multi-disciplinary collaborative platform. It focuses on the core logic of version control, and clarifies the creation scene and management mechanism of primary and secondary versions. Combined with the flow chart, the whole life cycle management process of the version is explained, and a set of feasible BIM collaborative design solutions is provided for the engineering industry to promote the digital development process of the industry.
