Abstract:
In early stage, airport construction predominantly relied on paper-based forms and verbal communication, requiring significant time and effort from management personnel while being prone to information loss, management chaos, and inefficiency. Although there are many existing information platforms, most of them are used internally by participating units. The lack of an integrated management platform from the perspective of construction managers makes it difficult to meet the efficient needs of large airport construction. Therefore, this study, from a construction management perspective, analyzes the challenges in Capital Airport's engineering project management and develops an intelligent collaborative management platform using "PBS+BIM" technology. Through case studies of Beijing Capital Airport projects, the platform's effectiveness in internal processes, progress control, and communication coordination is evaluated. The results demonstrate that the platform effectively supports refined and efficient collaborative management in large-scale airport projects. By enabling real-time data interaction through the digital collaborative platform, the proposed method resolves traditional information asynchrony issues, achieves precise resource allocation, and fosters a transparent multi-party collaborative environment.
