Abstract:
With the continuous development of economy, the number of bridge structures is constantly increasing. The traditional three-dimensional modeling method is complicated in process and cumbersome in model modification, which leads to low modeling efficiency in design and is difficult to meet the needs of modern bridge engineering. In this paper, a parametric modeling tool of bridge structure is developed based on the BIMBase platform, which fills the gap in the application of domestic BIM modeling software in bridge engineering. Through the secondary development of the software, a rapid modeling platform of bridge structure was successfully built. By building the parameterized driving model of bridge components (such as the dynamic correlation between box girder section parameters and geometric generation) and the maintenance mechanism of topological relationship (such as the linkage update of pile foundation and cap), the model was quickly generated and modified in real time. It makes up for the limitations of BIMBase in bridge modeling function. Finally, through practical engineering cases, it is proved that the bridge model can be created and modified in a short time, which reduces the repetitive labor in traditional modeling and significantly improves the design efficiency.
