Abstract: This paper presents a preliminary framework for structural information product model according to the information requirements at the structural design phase, and also, the confonnations of geometry information, load information and analysis result information are defined. In the paper, the models for georaetiy, load and analysis result IFC structural information are extended respectively in terms of EXPRESS-G diagram. The proposed results of this paper provide some technical supports for improving the IFC structural infonnation model and for efficient information exchange in the engineering design field.
