Abstract: Generally, large construction projects in China have the features of huge investment, complex shapes, tight construction schedules, etc.In face of increasingly complex and diverse construction projects, the traditional project management pattern can't adapt to the current demand.The rapid development of information technology such as BIM provides a new way and method for project management.BIM research and application of Beijing Urban Construction Group can be traced back to the national stadium for the application of 4D system and Multi-user Collaborative Work System.Later, in the Kunming new airport and Beijing Inter IKEA Shopping Center and other projects, the depth and breadth of BIM applications have been extended, and it has obtained a good application effect.
