Abstract: This paper presents four steps of the BIM model component library construction of design enterprise:1. component resource programming. 2. component classifying and coding. 3. component production, audit and storage. 4. component library management and maintenance. We elaborate one enterprise's BIM model component library's construction as an empirical case.
