Abstract: This paper summarized the status of materials procurement by using information technology in do-mestic and foreign construction enterprises, and proposed to set up the procurement platform based on the informa-tion level of the construction enterprises. Further more, the platform's capabilities, as well as the integration with ERP for construction enterprises have been discussed. This paper brings forward a way for construction enterprises to reduce procurement costs and enhance competitiveness by using information technology.
