Abstract: The thesis introduces the 3D Animation Technology which is practically applied to Comprehensive Transformation Technology Demonstration Project with representative buildings of historical style and features in Tianjin.By way of illustration, the manufacturing process of the 3D Animation of"The French Ministry of Chemical Industry Bureau"and"Salt Industry Bank", both of which have reflected typical features of the Historic Architecture.Meanwhile, the thesis also recounts the process of manufacture including preparing materials, establishing three-dimensional model, drawing three-dimensional texture, adjusting the effect of materials as well as rendering output.Finally, it comes to the conclusion that the technology of the computer graphics exerts a tremendous impact in protecting existing buildings.
