The canopy over the Hangzhou Asian Games's hockey stadium is made in a load-bearing membrane structure with an over-sized framework. The curved membrane surface looks beautiful, light, and dynamic. Through the application of BIM integration technology, the digital construction of the steel reticulated shell with complex curved surface is realized. This paper introduces its parametric design, digital fabrication, intelligent surveying and mapping, mechanized installation and other related details.
