Discussion on Key Technologies of Digitalization for Transport Infrastructure

Promoting the digitization of transport infrastructure is not only a national strategy, but also the need to promote the modernization and transformation of the transportation industry. The digitalized information model of transport infrastructure can be used as the carrier of multi-source data and various information. Therefore, the creation of digitalized information model is the key technology of transport infrastructure digitization. At present, there is a lack of standards, specifications and technical about the digitization of transport infrastructure. Based on the author′s work practice in the transportation industry, this paper studies the key technologies of transport infrastructure digitization from the perspective of technical research and engineering application, and discusses the technical routes of BIM, oblique photography and 3D laser scanning, the development of digitalized technology is prospected, and the experience of transforming transport infrastructure from physical entity to digital asset is provided.
