Application of BIM Technology in Deep Foundation Pit Engineering with Complex Structure

Foundation pit construction consists multiple disciplines, complex construction, and high risks, which is very comprehensive. Based on these aspects, foundation pit construction raised much higher requirements in safety, quality, and schedule management. It also has high requirement in advanced technology application. With the combination of deep foundation pit construction and BIM technology, this paper conducts the research and application of innovative functions regarding to BIM service platform. As results, based on BIM, the quality of design optimization, project quantification, 3D delivery, construction simulation, geological survey, pile acceptance, and pit monitoring can be improved, which can assist construction safety, quality and schedule control.
