Research on Design Axis and Segment Typesetting Algorithm of Shield Tunnel in Revit

In recent years, shield method has been increasingly applied in subway section construction. Combined with the increasingly popular BIM technology, there is a demand for 3D layout of section segments through Revit platform. The shield interval is composed of continuous segment rings. The spatial position of segment rings can be determined through the coordinate solution of three-dimensional design axis. However, due to the separation of plane parameters and vertical section parameters in axis design, it is difficult to determine the position of a point of design axis in space. Therefore, the fitting calculation of horizontal and vertical line of interval axis is the key to realize segment three-dimensional layout. Through the piecewise fitting of the design axis and combined with the operation rules of Revit API, this paper comes up with the calculation method of segment ring coordinates, azimuth and rotation angle, and carries out modeling verification according to the design parameters of the real project, which achieves the segment typesetting requirements under the Revit platform.
