The BIM technology is dereloping rapidly in architectural engineering design field. As BIM is available in different application, it works efficiently in different function and it could meet all end users needs, which booms different kinds of software's with BIM selling points. It brings positive and negative effects with this software blooms. The author worked many years about the BIM technology and the paper focuses on the part of MEP about the BIM software and its application in Japan.
