BIM technology is widely used in the field of architectural design and construction, but there is a big disparity in the field of application in metallurgical equipment repair.Based on BIM technology principle, from plant and equipment modeling to maintenance simulation, this article expounds ways of the BIM technology application in the field of metallurgical equipment maintenance, which is verified by an example.
