Research on the Application of BIM Technology in Engineering Construction Project

In recent years, along with the rapid development of domestic construction, BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology has been more and more widely accepted and applied in the field of engineering construction in China. BIM plays a vital role in the full life circle of an engineering project, such as designing, construction, operation and maintenance. Based on the research of the current situation of construction industry development both at home and abroad, this paper studied the application value, obstacles and solutions of BIM technology in the designing, construction, operation and maintenance and other stages in domestic construction industry, and the development of the domestic BIM technology has been prospected.

How to Achieve Efficient Architecture Cooperative Design in the BIM Environment

Realization high efficiency method of collaborative design research under the environment of BIM building can improve the efficiency and quality of architectural design. It can avoid the information inconsistency and conflict between different professional and different design view which often appear in the two-dimensional design environment of building. Using REVIT and Navisworks software research on a collaborative technology under the BIM design environment which include architecture.The BIM execution plan book binding, structure and mechanical and other professional in, taking Shenyang Construction University Sino German energy-saving demonstration project as an example. Through taking the standard format RVT file of the Revit model into the NavisWorks software for collision detection, to realize the collaborative design in BIM environment majors. Compared with the two dimensional cooperative design mode, collaborative design in BIM environment enhances information transmission and sharing, realize the different profession and the upstream and downstream of enterprises can work in the same mode. It can reduce or even avoid the design change and engineering rework what because of the design and construction personnel lack of synergy in work. All this can achieve high efficiency and high quality of architectural design, effectively reduce the construction cost.

The Modular Design Method based on BIM Applicationin Assembled in Architecture

At present, the level of development of housing industrialization in China is still at the primary stage, the traditional design method and mode of production has restricted the development of residential industrialization.So changing the traditional ways of design and reducing the cost of construction industrialization become the main task. Using the modular design method based on BIM in the prefabricated housing design and combining construction drawing design with resolution to deepen the design process in the traditional residential industry can optimize design process and improve the efficiency of design. Through detailed research on prefabricated components design and production enterprises and construction enterprises, and research on the application of BIM on the module, this paper puts forward a suitable assembly type structure based on the modularization design method of BIM. The"building block" method is used to make the model unit and form the whole building model. This method can improve the design efficiency, save the cost of design, and improve the entire building industrialization production chain.
