Application of BIM Technology in Construction of Lvxin Park

Taking the application of BIM technology in the construction project of underground parking garage and supporting commercial buildings in Lvxin Park as an example, this paper analyzes the application of BIM technology in and its effect on the project design modeling, construction project management and construction organization design. Considering the building characteristics of Lvxin Park, the application of BIM Technology is conducted in areas of informatized parametric design, collision inspection, pipeline integration adjustment, layout management and cost management, to makes the project process visible. Then the problems of drawing design and general layout can be found and solved in advance to improve the construction scheme. Lastly, with BIM platform as the core, the useful information in the construction process is loaded into various professional models, and the 3D visual and computable analysis characteristics of BIM model are used to provide data support for project management, so that managers can make more effective decision-making and more refined management.

Study on Natural Lighting Design for CDUT Library Based on BIM and BP Neural Network

The light environment created by natural light is preferred by public due to its own economic, natural, pleasant and irreplaceable characteristics. Natural lighting is not only conducive to energy conservation of lighting, but also conducive to increasing the exchange of natural information indoor and outdoor, improving the space health environment and regulating the mood of space users. Making full use of the natural light in the building is of great significance for creating a good light environment, saving energy, protecting the environment and building green buildings. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the lighting design of buildings. This paper puts forward an idea of natural lighting analysis in building based on the BIM technology and the BP neural network. Taking the CDUT library (library of Chengdu University of Technology) as an example, a 3D visualization model is established by using Revit software to generate the building information file in gbXML format. Then, the gbXML file is imported into Ecotect software to simulate and analyze the indoor light environment of the library, to calculate the natural lighting coefficient, and to quantitatively analyze the impact of window height, glass transmittance and wall material light reflectivity on the indoor light environment. At last, with the help of Weka software, the neural network model based on BP algorithm is established, obtaining the BP neural network model which can predict the variation range of variables under the optimal lighting coefficient.

This article mainly introduces the application of three-dimensional plant design system in design industry. According to the application of three-dimensional design software at present, it simple list some familiar three-dimensional design softwares in the domestic, introduces and contrasts characteristics of the software. Subsequenly, it discusses applications of the specific function of Intergraph's SmartPlant 3D in the engineering from a specific project and in three-dimensional design.

BIM gives rise to the second revolution for the construction industry. And now it is widely used and well developed in the domestic Construction Industry. According with the trend, the CAD software developers get involved into BIM one after another. To meet the market's needs, PKPM releases BIM-based construction drawing software, named PAAD. It provides a solution which will favor cross-platform collative design and promote the designer efficiency.

Design Method for Reinforced Concrete Columns under Biaxially Eccentric Loads in PKPM Software

Calculation of the biaxial eccentric compression member capacity is a complication in reinforced concrete structures design. This kind of calculation is usually performed by structural analysis and design software. This article presents a detailed description about the calculation analysis and the reinforcement design of reinforced concrete columns under biaxially eccentric loads in the PKPM software, which can be used as a reference for structure design when using the PKPM software.

A Discussion of How to Express Construction Drawing Based on BIM

It is true that the widely using of plane-method construction drawing has largely improved the productivity of construction industry. With BIM maturing and expanding in china, 3D design and visualization have been the inevitable trend. The new technology based on BIM has changed the traditional design model. The dependence between mark symbols and dates in the plane method disagree with building's representation and collative design. To make it more suitable to the BIM's development, an improvement called informatization which link the information represented by mark symbols with graphic entities and embed them into BIM model needs to be introduced into current plane method. To achieve this goal, the China BIM Standards also should be modified.

A Brief Analysis of Virtual Construction Technology for Design Institute

According to the present situation of the project of nickel and cobalt Design Institute and construction units, the traditional design method can not meet the need of practical problems. Application of BIM technology to create virtual building model contains all the information architecture, through the application of virtual reality, computer simulation technology for computer simulation and analysis of the actual construction process, based on the VC, contractor can realize beforehand controlling and dynamic management for construction, and optimize the construction organization and risk controlling.
