Research on Classification and Coding Rules of Bridge Engineering for BIM

With the continuous improvement of the application level of BIM technology in bridge engineering, as well as the expansion of the application scope, the information standardization work is imminent. This paper analyzes the information classification and coding system of related industries at home and abroad, and divides the objects in the bridge engineering into 11 classification tables according to the characteristics of bridge engineering. An EBS coding structure form is also formulated. A classification and coding system suitable for bridge engineering information model needs is initially established, providing the basis for BIM model information transmission and project management.

BIM-Based Comparative Study of HVAC Design Software

From the perspective of BIM technology, HVAC design software in the existing market was analyzed comparatively.From the point of interoperability, in order to enhance the professional collaboration, information exchange format developed from the geometric information exchange into a particular purpose or even the whole professional information exchange.Facing the environmental and energy issues, HVAC design software integrated with building performance simulation software includes energy efficiency software to solutions it comprehensively.And make simulation integrated into design.Compare design processes, the combination of information exchange and design process is crucial.At last, Product library need to be standardized and parametric.

The BIM-based HVAC software is an inevitable result of the combination of computer technology and HVAC technologies. It is a chance of great improvement of the level of HVAC software. For the HVAC software development engineers, it is a challenge as well as a chance from scatters to integration and from a closed system to an open system. For LC of buildings, the unique characteristics and data share within and between professions to effectively use the professional models are concentrated. Based on the development and requirements of new HVAC design software, the research on how to use BIM technology are discussed.
