Localization Strategy of Building Information Modeling in China

In the past decades, information technology was more and more popular in architecture design and lots of excellent works were displayed. However, as digital design applications, the BIM integrated management system is still difficult to promote large-scale in China. Compared with the developed countries, the gap will be enlarged. In order to identify problems and solve this difficulty, this article analyzed Chinese architectural design, summarize the current popular BIM platform and laid the foundation for institutes to promote BIM technology and localization in China.

From PC to server, from Internet to the Wifi, the future portable terminal installations and other kinds of applications have already expressed the huge potential.In the design field, people need some effective methods to combine the traditional design patterns and the digital technology.A design revolution based on the mobile Internet is extremely urgent.Under this background, this paper summarizes the whole process of design of handheld terminals and Cloud Application of BIM; proposes the solutions and analysis; hopefully opens a new way for readers to design in the digital aera.

With the technology developing fast, more and more designers begin to concentrate on the digital ways of controlling the shape of architecture. While in the process of practice, designers always find that real situation and the original assumption are out of sync when using digital ways. It's easy to get stuck in specific things and lose sight of the overall aim. In order to solve this problem, we have worked out the integrity of digital construction method with logic optimization model based on designers'thinking.

Research on the Collaborative Mode based on the Design Institute System—Lishan Building as An Example

With technological development and specialization of social work, traditional design mode is transferring to complicated systems that are multi-disciplinary, multi-domain and collaborative. Collaborative design has become inevitable for today's development in facing the increasingly complex design and construction systems. This article focuses on the optimization of design collaboration under the design institute system. Based on practical application and summery, it analyzes the importance of collaborative design to the integral control of building design. With the project of Lishan Building as an example, the article shows how to operate and control collaborative design during the application process as well as how to simplify problems and increase efficiency.

For most free forms, we usually start from the logical structure of mathematics. However, it is difficult to control the building form from the overall perspective, and as a result, we often have a deviation from the overall control of the design trend. In order to solve this design problem, according to the practical experience of TIENS University Sports Center project, we present a set of digital construction and logic optimization experience. We hope to bring some useful inspiration to the design of such projects.

BIM and the traditional way of construction have different emphasis and advantages in different stages of design. In every stage of design for solving various problems, a reasonable and comprehensive use of design tools or software will greatly enhance our productivity. In order to integrate theory with practice, according to our actual experience in the projects of Xinzhou Planning Hall, Museum and Archives, we come up with an integrated constructive logic from the perspective of an architect. Through this summary, we hope to bring some enlightenment to the design of this type of project.

With the "Cloud" technology and the development of the Internet, all kinds of application platforms and end use increase rapidly. It is more difficult for professional users of the Internet to obtain and deal with information, and the cost of design management is increased. The unequal mass information and information access lead to high costs, which restricts the efficiency of the professional use of information. The mature cloud platform for professional users of information has professional and efficient features. It can improve the overall level of the information utilization of the design staff through certain technical means and process modes, make the design more convenient, and reduce the cost of the design management.
