2014,6(4):36-41.
The application of foundation pit 5D monitoring and 3D geological model technology based on BIM increased the work efficiency and reduced the man-made omission effectively of safety monitoring during the process of foundation pit construction depending on the visual method. At the same time, in this project, the application of new demonstrating technologies and mobile media equipment such as 3D GIS, 3D laser scanning, 3D printing, AR, VR, Google Glass and so on made the safety monitoring during the process of foundation pit construction operated by project managers, supervisors, monitors more effective. The extended application of BIM technology on the foundation pit safety monitoring of the Poly Plaza explored a new method about foundation pit safety monitoring, and it also provided a useful reference on the application of BIM technology during the whole process of construction of foundation pit engineering.

The Application of BIM-based Design Visualization in the German Pavilion of EXPO 2010
Su Jun, Ye Honghua
2009,1(1):87-91.
This paper summarizes the successful application of BIM-based design visualization in the German Pavilion of EXPO 2010.By using Revit and Navisworks, discipline collaboration and collision detection can be done in 3D environment while it is almost impossible in 2D.Meanwhile, data exchanges between design firms and contractors have been improved through the BIM technology.

BIM Flying with the Virtualization Technology
Lu Yang, Ye Honghua
2015,7(2):65-66,88.
In recent years, the application of BIM technology in the construction process has been vigorously promoted by both national and local governments. In this context, many companies begin to emphasize and explore this technology. Some of them have already widely applied BIM in their work. The authors have worked on BIM application and practice for a decade and by After analyzing BIM's high level of dependency on the hardware configuration of local computers, they provid a feasible solution to this problem with the virtualization technology. In addition, the advantages of BIM's application in the virtual environment compared with that in the traditional framework of IT are also presented in this article.

BIM Extended Application in Shanghai Yufo Temple Renovation and Expansion Project
Zhao Huaying, Ye Honghua, Zhao Guanyi, Zhang Shengcheng
2014,6(1):101-105.
During the repairing, rebuilding and extension process of the Yufo temple in Shanghai, BIM technologies, combined with 3D laser scanning and 3D GIS digital city technologies are adopted to ensure the practicability of the project in every phase and keep the close link and feedback mechanism among disciplines. In this project, great efforts are made to use BIM technology to provide precise visible models for every discipline during the building design phase, extend BIM technology to all the phases of the building lifecycle (construction, facility manage and maintenance), and create a integrated information model on the same platform. It is an innovative attempt on the application of BIM technology on historic building repairing, rebuilding and extension, combined with 3D laser scanning and 3D GIS digital city technologies.
