Application of BIM Technology in Construction of Senegal Wrestling Hall

In the construction of Senegal Wrestling Hall, the BIM technology was applied in areas of construction plan selection, steel structure deepening processing, installation deepening design, decoration deepening design, and material control, to solve the technical and cost problems.Through the visualized delivery of the construction plan and the management using BIM 5D platform, many communication and on-site management between our personnel and Senegalese personnel are solved smoothly.The application of BIM technology has scientifically guided the on-site construction and achieved good economic and social benefits, which is able to provide experience and reference for the construction of similar projects.

Application of BIM Technology in the Construction of Prestressed Anchor Cable for Deep Foundation Pit Support

The 3D information model of deep foundation pit support of the Hunan Broadcasting System Program Production Project is built through using BIM technology, which brings about the pre-construction of prestressed anchor cable, assisting the civil engineers to detect the construction problems earlier and to take relevant measures to avoid risks.The application of BIM technology is especially for identifying and resolving the collision problem of the prestressed anchor cable in the original design drawings, and then the collision report is submitted to the design institute for the optimization design of the drawings.Meanwhile, the 3D visualization disclosure animation is made for powerful technological support to the project completion punctually and highly-qualified.As a result, considerable economic benefits and significant social benefits are achieved.

Application of BIM Technology in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Construction in Li-ling International Ceramic Exhibition Hall

The Li-ling International Ceramic Exhibition Hall is a large-scaled public building, with complexed underground pipelines involving many professions, which raises high requirements for clearance and large-scaled ceiling areas. The traditional 2D pipeline construction method possesses many limitations, mainly embodied in the areas including coordination of different specialties, rational order arrangement of installations, and clearance optimization. For the effective implementation of the mechanical and electrical pipeline constructions, the BIM technology is adopted to optimize the pipeline installation process, to improve the first pass rate of the pipeline installation and pump house optimization efficiency, and to save the construction period. The application achieved good economic and social benefits, and can provide reference for similar engineering applications.

Introduction of Construction Characteristics of a Partial Prefabricated Building

There have been many policy documents in state-, province- and city-levels about the development of prefabricated buildings in recent years, which are aiming at promoting the application of prefabricated buildings. Currently, the prefabricated buildings can be built by two forms of fully prefabrication and partial prefabrication, in which the latter one is of more applications in the industry. This paper introduces the construction progress of a certain partial prefabricated building project, and sorts out the problems related to the construction of partial prefabricated building. Relevant opinions and suggests are promoted that, in the design stage, the overall planning of PC component application deserves more attention to be paid, and that effective transformation of design drawings should be noticed in the implementation stage to connect the design, production and construction processes. Only by strictly controlling the quality of PC components, can the superiority of assembly building technology be brought into full play.

BIM technology used by Longping Rice Museum construction process plays a very good guiding role in the construction site layout, hyperbolic shell concrete roof formwork, quantity statistics and construction survey. At the same time, the use of iBan mobile application technology realizes project management in a wider range and in a quicker and more transparent and efficient way.Through the application of BIM technology, the construction period is shortened, the cost is saved, and better social and economic benefits are obtained.
