The terrain of the project is complex and the transportation of personnel, materials and machinery is inconvenient. There are many professional subcontracts, coordination is difficult, and on-site management is difficult. The interior design is complex and the space 3D is irregular. For the characteristics of this project, multi-professional design based on complex surfaces. The application of model data extraction and construction will inevitably require the intervention and support of BIM technology.

During the completion and handover progress of BIM application in construction engineering, a BIM completion model is required for submission. Based on the previous research on project completion delivery and BIM application process of decoration engineering, this paper applies different methods of literature review, comparison and practice to study the completion delivery and application of BIM completion delivery model for building decoration engineering. Through the analysis and comparison of the completion and delivery requirements before and after BIM application, as well as considering the engineering practice, the delivery process and delivery content after BIM application is summarized. By using the completion BIM model for settle accounts and final accounts, relevant experiences are concluded for references of other building decoration engineering.

During the progress of decoration construction process, the BIM model for decoration mainly focuses on the relationship between space, drawings and model data, considering the many factors of complex and diverse decorative shape, huge amount of model information, complicated file organization and collaborative relationship. The BIM application in decoration stage is to develop supporting documentation, to clarify the logical relationship between decoration and other professional building information models, to collate the pre-project information in time, and to collect other professional models and data, which is crucial for the rapid positioning of the decorative model.
