The Application and Implementation in the Curtain Wall of the New Area Planning Exhibition Center in Chengdu East New District

This article mainly introduces the BIM parametric application of the curtain wall project of the new area planning exhibition center in Chengdu east new district in the deepening design and optimization stage, the processing and manufacturing stage, and the construction and installation stage. The design concept of this project is hibiscus, which is the city flower of Chengdu. The petal position adopts the double-skin curtain wall system of double-curved phantom honeycomb aluminum plates and the outwardly inclined double-curved glass system. The overall shape has no obvious regularity, and there are a lot of type of system interface. Therefore, this project completely adopts the BIM parametric method by using Rhino and Grasshopper for modeling, analysis, optimization, and material order, which provides a reliable guarantee for the successful implementation of the project.
